Hello! It just so happens that the day my head decided to throb so bad, is on the same day we were given this assignment to work on. Ah, so yes, for the week, we were assigned to interpret the words "Hide & Reveal" into something visual, and come up with a sketch that we'd eventually use to make a paper cut-out.
I'd come up with a few ideas in relation to some intricate methods of cut-outs, hence the ideas of doily and vines; but I definitely wouldn't have as much time to brainstorm on them, hence the decision of making a simple design in relation to the theme: magic. I had the idea of the design, using top-hats and hands (presto magic!) but had no composition ideas to them. When asked by Mr. Hafiz and given suggestions, I settled down with the idea of a hand pulling out the words "Hide & Reveal". As simple as that, I suppose.
