This week, Mr Hafiz drilled us with the path tool again. This time mainly, playing with shadows of photos. We had to replace the shadow of a pear with the shadow of a skull!
We firstly had to retrace the image of a pear by Chiaroscuro as provided by Mr. Hafiz, as how we were taught to back in the second week of class.
And replace the shadows with this skull image provided by Mr. Hafiz as well. '
After much time playing with the pen tool, pathfinder, tracing and whatnot, I'd come up with a pink skullpear!
We were introduced to another photograph by Chiaroscuro, of two men. Mr. Hafiz had shown us the way he traced the man on the right, hence we were later asked to trace one on our own.
I wanted to go for that typical vector-art poster, so here's how I'd traced out mine!
Was pretty satisfied with the day's exercise, honestly!
